History game publishing in France is not dead yet !

Four history games authors, experienced players, depressed by the lack of publishers, have decided to unite their talent. Using a "do it yourself" policy, we have decided to publish our own creations. Today, after several months of intensive work, we have the great pleasure to announce the creation of Pratzen Editions, whose main purpose is the publication of historical games, primarily boardgames.

Our project list is quite interesting. Some of our games are almost ready. First, the "Vive l'Empereur !" series continues, and its sixth volume brings us to Spain, with the battle of Vitoria, a French defeat. Le Vol de l'Aigle (the Flight of the Eagle) is a very original Napoleonic campaign system based on an umpire-based double blind mechanism. Three campaigns (1806, 1807, 1809) are offered in this first volume. Le Combat de l'Aigle (the Fight of the Eagle), co-developed with Kip Trexel, is an original tactical Napoleonic battle system at the battalion level. Finally, Le Grand Empire is a grand strategical boardgame which covers the 1800-1815 era.

Other projects, still under development, will cover other eras and other areas.

The market, as well as our financial situation, requires us to see how the games will be received before producing them. If you like one of the games, you can pre-order it. When the number of pre-orders reaches a certain threshold, we will publish that game.

But we need YOU to tell us which game you want to be published. At first, no money will be required, but as a reward if you pre-order it, a nice discount will be applied when the game is released.

Some projects are only drafts, and we do need to know if they are of any interest. You can vote for them, and give us your feedback; this will give us the information we need to push ahead their completion.

May the dice rolls be yours !
